We would like to encourage everyone to get out and vote today. Just as every other election, November 6, 2018, is important!
While we would never tell you who to vote for - what we can suggest is educate yourself on the issues that you care about.
What's important to you? Is it good, quality schools and school funding? How about the environment and clean water? Or perhaps, it's about managed Medicaid Services in the state of Iowa. Educate yourself on those issues and determine which candidates support those positions that are important to you.
While voting at the polls can present challenges to some people we serve, it is our duty to make sure they can still do so.
Iowa is one of the nation's leaders in voting accessibility, below are the many ways you can vote and support someone you care about in doing so as well.
- If you are unable to leave your car, two precinct election officials will bring election supplies to the curbside.
- If you are in need of help filling out your ballot, you may request help from a voter assistant.
- If you use a wheelchair, each polling place will have accessible voting machines.

Remember, everyone who is a U.S. citizen and over the age of 18, CAN vote. Prepare to vote Tuesday, November 6.
