Support In Home/Community
Whether home is with a relative, in an apartment, or in a house with housemates, we're there to support your independence.
What We Do
We assist persons with disabilities in gaining the skills needed to successfully participate in their community. The following is a list of just a few of the skills we'll focus on.
- Supporting you in maintaining a clean, safe home
- Building positive relationships - with your neighbors and other community members
- Encouraging good nutrition and health
- Developing a network of friends and ways to structure your social/leisure time
What you do and when you do it is your choice. Visit the local farmers market, meet a friend for coffee, see a play, go on a day trip....the choice is yours. My Life, My Way is a program offered through SCL, provided with endless community-integrated opportunities available throughout days, nights and weekends.
