The Giving Tree Tradition Continues

As we all know, the last couple of years have been unusual and, at times, filled with uncertainty. However, we continue to be encouraged by the spirit within all of us, here at EPI and beyond. As we forge ahead into this holiday season, we once again bring you our annual Giving Tree event!
The Giving Tree started over 15 years ago as a way to meet modest needs of individuals served by EPI which would otherwise go unmet. This year we have 297 needs for 86 people we support! By fulfilling a need on the Giving Tree, you are providing a gift for someone who wouldn't have anything to open this holiday season without.
We’ve implemented a virtual Giving Tree to ensure the safety and well-being of our community while meeting the needs of the people we support by also bringing them a little holiday cheer.
Here's how you can help:
-
Pick a list and browse through the Giving Tree needs. Just click on one of the images below or the following links: Candy Cane Lane | Winter Wonderland | Jingle All the Way | Let It Snow
-
Simply choose the gift(s) you would like to purchase and check out (keep scrolling to learn how to make local purchases). Once purchased through the wish list, the gift(s) will be delivered to the person in need.
-
Or, make a cash donation and we'll do the shopping.
*If you wish to fulfill an item by shopping through a small business, please fill out the form found on this page to claim the item and have it removed from the wish lists.
What are some of the items requested on the Giving Tree?
When browsing the lists of Giving Tree needs, you will find a variety needs like winter coats, socks, or tennis shoes. Some individuals are moving into their own apartment for their first time and would love getting settled in with cleaning supplies, simple bedding, or pots and pans. You'll also find entertainment items like books, puzzles, or movies!
We thank you all for your lasting support in this wonderful tradition and sincerely wish everyone in our extended EPI family a happy and healthy holiday season!
A very special thank you to both Discerning Wealth and PDCM Insurance for hosting a Giving Tree at their offices.
