We are excited to announce an upcoming opportunity for persons served and the public. The Iowa Developmental Disabilities (DD) Council will be visiting Exceptional Persons, Inc. (EPI) to give a presentation on voting information and voter rights.
This presentation is designed for individuals with developmental disabilities to better understand their rights as voters, the voting process, and how to engage in civic participation. We are extending this invitation not only to those we serve at EPI, but also to other agencies in the area who may have persons served who would benefit from this training.
When: Wednesday, October 9 | 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Where: Deery Center Multipurpose Room - 3675 University Avenue, Waterloo, IA 50701
How: Registration for these events is extremely important as space is limited. If you plan to bring a guest or are supporting more than one individual, please RSVP for them separately so we can plan accordingly.
Please note that the presentation will not be recorded, so we encourage attendance in person.
